| This room had one of the best
sounds of the show. Classe Audio of Canada was showing its new
SACD player: The Omega SACD - 1. This unit looks great and
judging from what we heard, sounds great too. Not surprisingly
it was used as a front-end component of choice on other
displays as well. |
 |
| Tenor Audio was showing some serious glass in
the form of their Classic series Model 75 Wi. Gorgeously
executed both sonically and visually, a pair was happily
driving Parsifal Encore loudspeakers of Verity Audio. Dressed
in Italian High-Gloss Sycamore, they where just begging to be
touched. Sonically they proved to be a treasure, an opinion
shared by others exhibiting at the show choosing to partner
them with their gear as well. |
 |
| Harmonic Resolution Systems were supporting in
the form of their DEADEND M2 Isolation Base, seen underneath
the Omega SACD-1 and the Tenors. While a set of neat and
effective tube damping rings where hugging the output tubes of
each Tenor. These are from HAL-O (Herbie's Audio Lab) and they
are called Vacuum Tube Damping Instruments. |
