Audio Aero, Quad Electrostatics, Harmonic Resolution Systems     This proved to be a good sounding room. The system managed to weave a fine and organic sound, despite the room being long and narrow and the seating position close and against the back wall. Audio Aero of France was responsible for the front end with their Capitol CD Player 24/192. A pair of vintage but supped up Quad ESL-57s were doing the honors of sound reproduction. These, no longer in Quad's standard production are arguably the best sounding Quads ever made. It's no wonder they keep showing up. Audio Aero also provided the amplification with their 40W Class A Single-Ended Prestige Monoblocs. All three were on top of Harmonic Resolution Systems DEADEND M2 Isolation Bases.   next room:
