|
| |
| Italian Sonus Faber was showing
its new speaker: The wonderful Cremona. Named after the
Italian city that is the custodian of the art and tradition of
Lute making, Cremona is smaller than the famous Amati Homage
but bears a strong resemblance. Finish and attention to detail
is first rate - the standard Sonus Faber. |
 |
| A pair of Nagra VPA vacuum tube power
amplifiers drove the speakers. The preamplifier was also
Nagra, the PL-P vacuum tube preamplifier. The component rack
was a Cyber Art all aluminum design. |
 |
| The front end was a Wadia 861 CD player
floating on a set of Symposium Roller Blocks series 2. This
system was open, detailed and full of dimensionality -
Bellissima! |
