Construction
Measure the top of your Cd players top plate and then get the 3/4" glass cut to the same size as the top of your Cd player.

Setup
After getting the glass cut to the exact measurement of the top plate of the Cd player, place it exactly on top of the Cd player.

Use
This can also be used for your amp and other equipment.

Performance
After placing the glass on the top of the CD player, you will notice that the soundstage increases and including the imaging, even the bass gets more tight. If you want to experiment, try pulling out the glass a little bit from the top and you will notice that the more the glass rest on the entire top plate the better the imaging & tightness is and the more you pull the glass out the lesser the effect.

Other
You can try the same with a wood panel or even a solid lead panel.

Jon Be very careful putting anything on top of an amplifier, and never cover any ventilation slots, as you could damage the amp through overheating.
