| I just gathered different innovations and ideas from leading cable manufacturers. |
Double-wiring |
| |
| I bought a 'zip cord' type of speaker wire from Esoteric Audio, then I separated the two conductors into two and do it to others, next with the sufficient lengths required, I braided it myself the way a Kimber 4TC is braided (with four conductors) and at both ends of the wire, I put a ferrite clamp at it like some Audioquest clamps.
Then that's it! |
| |
| With a bi-wirable speaker, you will use 4 pairs of speaker cable, if braided by four as mentioned, It would look like that each terminal has its own set of cables. It may be confusing, to tell it in another way, I put a pair of cable in a single binding post, I use a banana plug and a spade plug. So, in a speaker capable of bi-wiring, the speaker wire should have 8 plugs at each end.
Did you get it? If not send mail at dBAGZ@usa.net. |

| It is as simple as putting an ordinary cable from your amplifier going to the speaker. The only difference is that you will connect a pair of cable at each post. I prefer a banana plug and a spade plug for a cool look! |

| By having two conductors in a path, the resistance lessens and the impedance of the cable will be stable because two conductors are supplying the power to the speaker.
The improvements are quite unbelievable for me because the inner details of the material gets more clearer and the bass becomes stronger, the killer here is that the midrange becomes super clean with no such hiss, absolutely nothing, and the high frequency becomes a little rolled-off due to the filters , and gives a very sweet sound comparable to fine electrostatics. Soundstaging and imaging also improves, very subtle! |
| |
| This might be expensive, but it depends on the material that you will use. I do things myself, you could just by another set of cables, it depends on you. But I recommend to do it yourself for a more pleasurable tweaking!!! |
