| Spray some Johnson Pledge in the air. Now swipe your CD lable side down through the cloud of Pledge. |

| This simple tweak a) works as an anti-static and b) fills any micro hole in the CD's surface together resulting in a much more 'analogue' sound. |

Oh
my god. This tweak is a killer: clarity, openness, micro
details added. Even better than changing to 3 times more
expensive cabels.
But in the long run, won't the oils in the
"Pledge" harm the plastics on the disk? Should
applying take place before any playing of the same disk
(even the day after?). tnx |

Not
to mention that the pledge (i.e. a hydrocarbon grease)
will slowly, but surely, coat the laser lens in the CD
Player. This will likely cause a malfunction at some
point... I have not tried this tweak, but I'd be willing
to bet that this tweak will damage the CDP. |

Hello
seekers
I tried this tweak on a few selected cds and I am not
convinced that there is any benifit. There was definatly
a difference, however the highs seemed muddy and the
focus was dulled. It is a fun tweak but its all in
personal preference as to the sound.
Cheers
