| Want to improve your sound again? Go purchase Hospital/Industrial grade ac outlets or some call them recepticles from Home Depot (Levitron brand 20 amp version)) or Lowes (Eagle brand 20 amp version)) and replace those .39 cent ones from your wall where you plug in all your electronics. They are much better quality. |

| Really surprised me with the difference in sound. MUCH tighter, or better definition--especially my NAD C-270 amp. I'm serious--it works! There is another ac recepticle that is much more expensive you can locate on the internet called F.I.M.--These average $55 bucks each and i'm sure they are worth it from the reviews I have read, however, the 10 dollar 20 amp industrial/hospital grade ac outlets I mention are much more tangible financially and they do work quite well - you might be surprised especially if your wiring is very old. These provide much better contact pressure on the plug. |

Leviton
products should not be recommended since many
audiophiles noticed their quickly degrading performance.
The bronze used in their parts is apparently responsible
for this. Hubbell, Eagle, Pass & Seymour, Marinco
are much better products. |

I
had a hospital grade/isolated ground Leviton break into
peices while installing it. Hubbell is the way yo go. PS
Audio Power ports, made by Hubbell, are the best I've
seen yet. But they're a bit pricey at $50. |

I've
installed the Power Port in my mid - range home theatre
system and its made a noticeable difference over the
contractor grade receptacle. I'm only a University
student and I would spend the $80CAD again in a second. |
