| Hi
guys/girls! Just recently updated my hi-fi to theatre. I
realized that my equalizer was not compatible with the 5.1
chanel receiver. Good for a garage sale i thought??? Then I
figured out this trick. Hook up your equalizer in between
your subwoofer (lfe) out and the subwoofer itself. Of course
here youre using rca connectors and patch cords. So what you
created is a bass management device. |
| |
| Wow
simply use the last 3 settings on your eq, 32hz, 64 hz 120
hz and 240 hz and dial in boost of 12 db gain in any spot
you choose. |
| |
| It
works awsome ! It's like having a new more expansive sub at
the flick of a switch and you will now hear and feel sounds
you never heard before. |
| |
|
Ears have difficulty hearing 20 hz or less, most speakers
including subs have difficulty reproducing such low
frequencies, now with this set up you will compensate for room
problems, for your human hears and for speakers weakness to
produce bass. I could not even find a similar product on the
net . So why not put your old eq back to life and give your
sub the work out of its life . Use with caution!
