| Simply place CD into the Bedini Ultra Clarifier, press the red button (its the only button anyway) and let it do its work. Once the CD stops spinning, place the CD into your CD transport/player, place the Statmat onto it and press PLAY. |

Comparing to an untreated CD, the untreated CD sounded noticeably harsher, brighter and edgier. There is a distinct glare in the overall presentation.
By treating the CD with just the Bedini Ultra Clarifier, the overall sound did improve, reducing the mentioned glare and edginess considerably.
However, the addition of the Statmat improved the overall sonic presentation wrought by the Bedini device. It became smoother, yet with no loss of detail (in fact, the detail has increased noticeably) and there is an increase in the "organic" presence of the music. All in all, there is a surprising amount of improvement and all the attributes are very pleasing indeed. |

I managed to buy both the Ultra Clarifier and Statmat at "discontinued" price, i.e. both parent companies came up with an improved version of their respective models and I simply bought the last known model that is no longer in production. Hence, the price vs performance ratio is very good indeed.
75 and 10 respectively (after discount).

I
bought a 2 beam Clarifier then went to Radio Shack and
bought 4 of their rectangular magnets and glued then to
the bottom corners of the Clarifier. So now I have a 6
beam Clarifier. It's more effective than the 2 beam and
the magnets cost about $10. |
