Superball |

Cut superballs in half, placing the bottom down on floor inplace of spikes on target stands.

Remove components from target stand, remove spikes. Place halved superballs[flatside down], under feet of stand and check for level. Make sure not to split or crack the cut superballs. Twisting the stand can cause this to happen. In my case it is vinyl tiles over wood floors. If you have a very heavy system I would use them under your indiviual components. I have about 150lbs on the stand. I would be very careful although the weight is evenly spread over the four legs.

I'm assuming the superballs absorb vibrations.

Simply more coherent sound from top to bottom. Cable changes, every change in the system is effortlessly revealed. Biggest jump of all is music flow, ease of presentation, even changing mats on TT is obvious. Deeper soundstage. Bare in mind the weight involved in your stand, components on the halved balls. This works, big time.

Good under the Roxan Zerxes TT, works under my speakers, pre and power supplies and line conditioners also.....have fun. I'm not rating this The Best because I would assume a properbly manufactured device could be superior. This SB simply shows what can be achieved for next to nothing.
