Construction
I got a shure m75 cartridge from a discarded turtable and was unable to find a suitable replacement stylus for it however a local discount electronics store had many replacement styli in his basdement and did not know what to do with them I purchased a box from him for about $10.

Setup
I installed the m75 on my turntable and placed the stylus labled for the m75 on my cartridge but I was dissapointed with the results. so I put one marked v15 type III on it. the first thing I noticed was that the cartridge body was too narow for that stylus so after thinking about it a couple of seconds I took one of those small rubber bands that my wife has to tie her small braids with and rremoved the stylus gaurd from the v15 stylus using the plastic pieces that hold the stylus guard on the stylus assembly to secure the rubber band and the terminals that the wires that attach to the cartridge to secure the other end of the tubber band.

Use

Performance
Using this stylus with this cartridge I begin too see why many audiophiles like this cartridge. the upgraded sound is very sweet!!
