| Take a cement block 12x12 from Home Depot and paint it black. Then go to Wal-mart and get racquet balls, one container. Then cut those in half and place 4 under the cement block and then 3 between the cement under the player. Feel free to fill the half racquet balls with led for further vibration control. |

Or,
go buy 16 "squash balls" - I'm not sure if
these are the same as "racquet balls" - and
put 4 of them together in each corner, under the cement
block. In fact, an 18"x18" cement paver is
better, if you are supporting something bigger and
heavier - like a turntable - and you may therefore need
20 or 24 squash balls underneath it.
By not cutting the squash/racquet balls in half, you get
the full benefits of an air isolation platform. Once
you've saved up the US$3,000, you can go buy a
Vibraplane and junk the DIY isolation platform!!
