Use
Fine products like Black Diamond Racing products can be further "tuned" by combining MK3 andMK4 cones, "Pits" and Those "Things" together to further improve audio performance.

Performance
With the ability to tune very finely the resonances of the Black Diamond Racing products in conjunction with each other, I found out that all three products working together on my transport and DAC would give me about 80% the sonic improvement of working with the Black Diamond Racing "The Shelf" at $500 to $800 ea. for about $250/component. I know this is still pretty expensive, but the enjoyment of tuning your system to your level of enjoyment is worth it.

Chris M.	BDR also make isolation kits for VPI Scout and Aries turntables. 4 pits and a motor shelf. Worked great on My HW19 as the SAMA and Aries motors are the same size. Replaced the cheap sorbathane feet with Golden Point cones. You can get these isolation kits through Music Direct.
