Pluse transformer for Digital

Construction
Use a pluse transformer from Mini-Circuits model TT1-6 as an isolation transformer for digital interconnects. Take the signal out of the RCA center connection to the input of the transformer to the other side of the transformer and to a 75 ohm bulk metal film resistor then to the ground of the RCA jack. Do this at the source end of your digital interconnect. Wrap the thing with some Teflon tape and listen to the difference.

Setup
Take your favorite digital interconnect and add an isolation transformer to the source end to eliminate reflected impedance between components.

Use
Use between any cd transport and d/a converter

Performance
Lowers noise floor and allows detail to be heard.

Other
One major cable company markets this in their $580 digital interconnect. They use silver conductors and fancy wood RCA shells to justify the price

Thanx...

Sebastian Hi there, lost in the wording for the wiring. Could you supply simple wiring diagram. Can`t get my head around it. Thanks

Sebastian Very interested in tweak no.7 but can't get my head around the construction side. Not enough full stops. Could it be possible to send a simple schematic diagram ... Thanks.
