| You have to find the 12 volts regs (LM 317 and 337) that are supplying the 12 volts for the DACS. You take them out You take two cars batteries and connect the wires for B+, B- and ground. It is a good thing to place a .1 mfd polystyrene cap near the B+ and B- to the ground. Place them inside the D 500 at the end of the wires that are coming from the batteries. |

As
i use batteries on my gainclones i can advise to use
only SLA (sealed lead acid) type batteries. A open lead
acid battery will emit hydrogen and hydrogen sulfied
gases.Also running a battery down to 10VDC will shorten
the life of the battery. I just use battery chargers and
2 1000uf caps to ground on a +12-ground- -12 volt
system.I just charge when the system is not in use. |
