| my t.table stand is wooden construction and wall mounted...very lossy energy-wise or maybe it vibrates like mad who knows? Anyway i have an old Oracle and always had problems with the bounce test and as well if i left the stylus in a groove with the gain way up high without the record revolving i could hear the energy transmitted through the cable to the arm when i performed the bink test (not to be confused with, oh no! i binked my cantilever!)...i presume everyone who flicks their t.table base, equipment rack etc. is familiar with 'bink'? i found that if i routed the phono cable through a thread which was looped over a pin on the underside of the shelf along with customary slack in the cable the bink was no longer audible through the speakers, plussss the Oracle bounced way nicer than if i used the clip that came with it. |

| more confident tracking, at high volumes in particular ...less distortion too...you know passing the bink test has to be a good thing ... and as an Oracle owner you know you could always bounce better |
