Cut eight, one square inch pieces of Blutack from its' sheet. Stretch and fold each piece for about 30 seconds. This is what gives it the holding power. Roll up each piece and place them about an inch in from the corners of the top plates of the stands. Press the wads down on the plates until they are1/8 inch thick. Carefully align each speaker to the desired mounting position and press firmly into place. Pound the top of the speakers at each corner a few times and the speakers are now firmly connected to their stands.

Bass response is dramatically improved, imaging is also better. The effect is similar to moving up one or more models in a manufacturers' product line.

If you want to remove the speakers, pry s-l-o-w-l-y, otherwise you may peel veneer off the speakers or paint off the stands.
